Panic
Panic has got to be one of the reasons this scene exists! The
creator of a club, partly responsible for building Europes
electronic/alternative scene - Pure Industrial, Panic can now
be seen DJing the notorious Stunners and at Slimelight.
Panic is quite simply a great DJ who exhibits an extraordinary
talent for spotting the next emerging genre, and as such anticipated
the industrial, EBM and electro clash scenes years ahead of his
peers.
DJ Panic started his career by dj-ing at the house parties in his hometown of Belgrade, Serbia. In 1983 he played his first club gig at the FF club.
He moved to London in 1989 and the first club residence came in 1994 at PURE INDUSTRIAL (until 1998).
Since 1994 he has been a resident at the following clubs: Adventures of Gwendoline (since 1996), Switchblade Sisters (since 1996), Perversion (since 2002), New Gold Dream (in 1997), The Stunners (since 2003), Slimelight (since 1999), Synthetic Culture (since 2004)
Panic has played in Florida, New York, Los Angeles and the upcoming gigs will also include Tokyo and Osaka. Other notable dj slots include a Halloween FESH party at the 333, a night headlined by the hacker.
He’s also supported numerous bands for their gigs, as well as promoted gigs and club nights. Other highlights include the after-show party for Marilyn Manson’s first ever UK gig.
Currently, he is performing live as ELECTRONICS ANONYMOUS, a 4-member electro-visual band, playing live unrehearsed electronic music, monthly on a first Sunday at Electricity Showrooms bar, Hoxton, London.
